You might be able to run older PPC games that require 1GHz G4 and up to 64MB VRAM, since the MacBook 2GHz Intel CPU is fast enough to run the PPC code under Rosetta emulation about as fast as the native PPC machine. Lots of developers work with open source, but only a tiny fraction of those are good enough to get software that was designed for one platform to work on another one. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a free demo of those games where you could try it out, but you might be able to look at the system requirements and look around for some other game demo that has similar system requirements to test out the capabilities of the MacBook in general. ![]() The game is a first person/third person shooter that allows players to take the role of soldiers in either of two opposing armies in different time periods of the Star Wars universe. ![]() Which version are you talking about, the older one that was written for the older discontinued PPC Macs, or the newer Battlefront II for Intel/Windows PC?
